Why it matters

We believe fewer things should do more - and last longer. That’s why we only produce what’s actually ordered, eliminating dead stock and cutting out the waste that comes from overproduction. Our garments are made in Europe with trusted, ethical partners, keeping the process transparent and close to home.

We’re bringing it back.

We didn’t start a clothing brand because we love fashion. We started it because nothing fit.

We’re Micaela and Jannik. One of us has strong thighs and a tiny waist. The other has broad shoulders and arms that never fit standard sleeves. We’ll let you guess who’s who.

What we had in common? A closet full of almosts. Pants that almost fit. Shirts that almost worked. An exhausting cycle of trying, returning, adjusting - and still ending up disappointed.

So we asked ourselves: Why are we adjusting to the clothes instead of the other way around?

We created CUSTM because we believe good design starts with the human body - not a size chart from 1992. Because we care about quality, not quantity. And because we’re convinced the most sustainable thing you can do is buy better stuff that lasts.
